Yoga can and should be done in silence when appropriate. Having a soundtrack in a Vinyasa class simply adds another fun, sometimes helpful element. I certainly hope those of you in class enjoy one or more songs from the playlists as much as I enjoy making them.
Fascinating article that coincides with much of the conversation people are having recently. Science v. Spirituality, our integration with technology and what constitutes consciousness. It is both something we know innately and yet know nothing at all.
Our planet is an endlessly beautiful and fascinating place. This is in Oregon.
This is why we must be mindful in who we vote for and what causes we support. Those who believe in the human right to explore their own mind, heart and body to their soul’s content. Those who believe in civil rights. Those who believe in the potential for improvement both in science and in spirit. Those who support the right to Love yourself and whoever else you damn please. Those who believe in openness, connectivity and ease.
We are the Apogees, humble in our journey.

We are revolutionaries.
Spiritual Revolutionaries.
We have eternal faith in naturalness.
We eat fruit.
We eat vegetables.
We eat nuts and such.

Whether it be through the study of space and astrophysics, or the deep internal study of what it is to be a spiritual being, we’re all seeking the same knowledge and truth. And as we discover more, there’s so much left to explore. We should bridge these widening gaps. Our humanity and existence suffers the more we increase the divide. We’re meant to be connected, collaborative. Let’s act like it.
